Hotel Drei Kronen Vienna City

I was very satisfied with the hotel. Everything was really good: responsive and friendly staff, good breakfast, very clean and cozy room, the air conditioner worked. Of the downsides - I wanted a normal pillow and sheets without a duvet in +30 in August. I would like to separately note the excellent location - the metro is nearby, and the main attractions can be easily reached on foot. The hotel is perfect for getting to know Vienna.

Nice little city hotel right by the Naschmarkt, a bit dated, the rooms are not particularly large, but clean. The quality of sleep was very good for me. With the windows closed, the street noise (subway) is quite bearable, which one must expect from a hotel in this location. The breakfast room is quite small for the guests, and it is difficult to find a seat. The selection of rolls, croissants, and cakes is large, but there is still room for improvement with fresh meats and cheeses. The location is optimal, as you can reach the pedestrian zone or the nearest subway station in 10 minutes.

We stayed here for a week and were very comfortable. The location is wonderful--right by the Nachtsmarkt, an easy 15-20 minute to St. Stephens. I really can't imagine a better location for an affordable-ish stay in this beautiful city. The picture currently displayed on Tripadvisor is not a picture of this hotel--it's a more conventional (but pretty) traditional Viennese building. I've included a picture of the actual building. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is OK--about what you'd expect for the level of hotel with sufficient choices, but not outstanding in any way. The machine coffee at breakfast bordered on undrinkable for us. Overall we'd gladly stay here again.
