Never again! Unfriendly staff and questionable rip-offs My stay at this aparthotel was a great disappointment. The staff – both the cleaning team and the reception – were extremely unfriendly. Particularly problematic: No one speaks German at the reception, which makes communication difficult for many guests. On arrival the dishes in the accommodation were dirty, which is totally unacceptable for a hotel. Even worse was the behaviour of the cleaning staff: False claims were made that there was smoking in the apartment – just because I smoked outside and smelled like it. However, this does not justify the staff shouting at me! Another big problem is the smoke detectors, which repeatedly triggered during normal cooking – not only in my accommodation, but also in others. The fire department confirmed that this was due to cooking. Nevertheless, the hotel tried to charge us for the deployment and behaved extremely untrustworthy. Attempts were even made to “negotiate” with me about the price, probably in the hope that I would not be able to defend myself due to my limited knowledge of English. Overall, I didn’t feel like a guest here, but like someone who wants to make as much money as possible. I can only strongly advise booking this hotel! This is my Day 1 at this Hotel (communication to the Hotel) Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent experience at your esteemed 4-star hotel. I had made a reservation for three adults, expecting a certain level of comfort and quality commensurate with the reputation and pricing of your establishment. Upon our arrival, we were pleased to find two of the beds provided were indeed comfortable and met our expectations for a hotel of your caliber. However, the third bed was significantly below the standard we anticipated. It was uncomfortable and did not align with the quality one would expect even from a two-star hotel, let alone a four-star. The discomfort was such that we spent the night restless, constantly trying to find a position conducive to sleep, but to no avail. This significantly impacted our experience and the overall impression of our stay at your hotel. Given the circumstances, I kindly request that you address this issue and ensure a bed of appropriate quality is provided for the remainder of our stay. We chose your hotel for its reputed standards and believe that every aspect of our experience should reflect the level of quality and comfort you advertise. The furniture is old and not clean and the location is bad and a deposit of 300 € was taken with 100 € for cleaning and the deposit was not returned because the bathroom door was destroyed by water and this is not true, so I advise not to go to this place as the treatment of the staff and the manager is very bad.
