Romantik Hotel Im Weissen Roessl

The hotel is spotless and set in a spectacular location. Our room was a decent size and was spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. Waiting staff were pleasant and polite. The food was gourmet quality and whilst the choice was limited, the quality was superior. We had one night where the service was awful. It seemed that there were problems in the kitchen and waiting staff seemed overwhelmed. The service seemed chaotic and no explanation was forthcoming. That said, every other night the service was first rate so we just put it down to some kind of temporary crisis in the kitchen. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a restaurant review. The food was good, but the location is perfect for a beer or drink. Service was quick and easy but the kitchen does close at 5pm so be aware of the early close and the restaurant closes at 6pm

Whether winter, summer or - as at the moment - in mid-season. The Rössl is always wonderful. All members of the team super nice, rooms with lake views just stunning and the food on the lake terrace with perfect service by Mr Milan and team pure relaxation. Highlight is of course the pool in the lake with sensational views. The breakfast buffet is very rich and the restaurant "Polls Kaiserterrasse" offers culinary highlights. For us, one of the highlights is the evening with zither music in the restaurant and bar. We'll book right back, because Rössl is addictive.
