Warning about this hotel: We had already paid the hotel price via Booking. The hotel has charged us the full amount at check out nevertheless again and now that we noticed it, refuses a refund. We now try to eliminate the double booking via charge-back. Be careful!

Hotel fine, not very special but fine. The fact that you have to climb the mountain 4 kilometers on dirt road is also very special and fun. The rooms are otherwise neat. Only dinner is terrible. 4 courses and a disappointment each time. My son asked if the cook himself could taste it. Looks like the Austrians get a different menu than the foreign guests. Turns out you have to pay extra for the good menu. No problem but it is not indicated in advance that you can also order better food. We found out the last day. Just too late we had already been out to dinner twice. Actually, the worst thing is that if you complain about that, they say you should have found out for yourself and not offer a solution.

It's a really beautiful location. Before, it was great there. Now unfortunately since a few years another, not welcoming, owner. Food was forgotten, little choice on the menu, sir brought children's spaghetti, why not know but he said so himself, only to pay for adult portions. The spaghetti was served lukewarm. I heard more people complaining about this! We weren't the only ones!
