Alpenhof Hotel

What a lovely hotel- very clean and tidy and staff are friendly and very welcoming. The food was excellent and buffet style so could have as much as you wanted. The rooms were clean and spacious - with en-suite. The sauna and steam room area was wonderful to relax after a long day on the slopes. I would highly recommend and the bus into town was very frequent and stops right outside the hotel.

My boyfriend and I stayed in Hotel Alpenhof for a week half board and we could not recommend it any more highly. We checked in late at night and they had very kindly kept some of the buffet for us. The owner was extremely welcoming and accommodating from the outset and throughout When booking we thought we were going to have a shared bathroom, arriving to a very spacious en suite room was a great surprise All of the staff went over and above to ensure you were welcomed, well fed and were very attentive to our needs Each night there was a different theme for the buffet. It was all so good that on the one night we had planned a fancy meal out, we still ended up eating in the hotel! Breakfast was a good selection of freshly cooked bread, eggs, cold meats, cereals and juice etc. Perfect way to start the day Hotel Alpenhof is homely, traditional and very well presented. The basement bar has very reasonably priced delicious local beer The free shuttle bus in and out of town stops literally outside the front door of the hotel which made life so easy as it is approx 15 min walk into town (and a steep uphill to get back!) Would 100% return to Hotel Alpenhof - thank you!!!

Just returned from St Anton. First things first, this is a 3 star hotel and so don't expect the facilities or cuisine of a 5 star hotel. However for a ski holiday it ticked all the boxes. 5 star service from great hosts. Varied tasty buffet cuisine certainly kept us fuelled up. Rooms were spotless,beds comfy, rooms spacious and great powerful showers. Room had satellite TV so when needing a rest was able to reacquaint myself with old episodes of the Sweeney! Nice bar with a great generous barman with drinks at reasonable prices plus a pool table and darts to keep us entertained after dinner. Good heated boot room with enough room. Nice Sauna and from the rooms at the front a great view from a balcony. We thought the location would be an issue but believe me with the local bus coming every 5 minutes during the peak times, stopping right out side it was better located than a number of other closer hotels as the bus route is on a loop. For St Anton at half term, great value for money. Definitely recommend it
