I would highly recommend Hotel Austria, the position is brilliant with a lift just across the road to a few slopes and the ski bus stop right outside for a 15 min drive to more ski areas. The hotel is very comfortable and welcoming and I could not fault my room at all, with comfy beds and soft fluffy towels and most importantly loads of storage space!! All the staff are amazing and helpful, especially Nino on reception (not only helpful but gorgeous as well!) and Bonita, in the bar who is so welcoming and full of personality. Would definitely recommend.

This is a lovely place to stay. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The downstairs areas of the hotel are newer and have traditional decor. The food is great in the restaurant, with traditional dishes. We were bed and breakfast, if we stay again (which we would like to) I think we would do half board. They have choices of meals each day for main meals of traditional dishes. Less choice if you are vegan. Breakfast is mainly continental and what you would expect from 3 star hotel. The location is absolutely brilliant you could not ask for more. It’s opposite a main ski lift, ski bus stop outside and above the ski hire shop and ski lockers. Great spar supermarket just down the road. The bar at the bottom of the lift is nice again the staff are really friendly. Also the restaurant on the slopes has nice food for lunch. The ski bus runs really regularly and is free and you can get to higher areas within 15 mins. The instructors are really friendly also I had group lessons and they really helped. I would recommend the area and hotel. The only downside is the rooms need a bit of an update with beds being a bit old. This is offset by a lovely balcony view and excellent location. So it depends what’s important to you, it’s 3 star and great price also. The rooms are spotlessly clean with staff changing towels etc wherever you need. The sauna and pool are open and in use despite what reviews say. Nothing was too much for staff here they were all fabulous. Loved the area as never been to Austria as we usually ski in France. We booked through crystal and they were really helpful too. We would return 🤩 I want to write this to support the hotel as the reviews were mixed , although I almost don’t want to write incase everyone starts coming.. as it’s a quiet ski area / with lots of snow cannons .. hidden gem of an area !

Very delicious food. We were all very pleased. The service was very friendly and fast. We were there for the second time and will gladly come back. The soups were very delicious. The schnitzels were very well fried. Super delicious was the baked salad.
