Elisabethpark

We really enjoyed our winter vacation at Hotel Elisabethpark in Bad Gastein. We were particularly impressed by the great location of the hotel, the very good food, and the pleasant atmosphere throughout the hotel. Everything was very clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The only point of criticism concerns the sauna area: Unfortunately, many guests sat directly on the wood without a towel. For hygiene reasons, it would be desirable for the hotel to pay more attention to this or to point it out more clearly. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would gladly return.

The food has been very well prepared and simple. Great service. The hotel is located a short distance from the slopes, but the bus runs very close to the hotel. Good sauna but a bit to go from our room. But a very good service all the time. Then bad gastein is a very nice destination. Can really recommend this if you are a good skier. Tougher for beginners.

We stayed at this hotel in Bad Gastein and overall had a pleasant experience. The building dates back to 1882, and while the rooms are clearly old and not recently renovated, everything was very clean — the rooms, the hotel areas, and common spaces. The room itself was spotless, the mattresses were comfortable, and towels were changed every day. Cleanliness is definitely one of the strong points of this hotel. Breakfast was standard, similar to what you’d expect in most hotels. Dinner included soup, a good variety of salads, a choice of two main dishes (often one fish option), and dessert — simple but satisfying. The restaurant staff are a very strong advantage of this hotel — always positive, friendly, and extremely helpful. Their attitude really stands out and adds a lot to the overall experience. The spa area was very clean, with very, very warm water, making it especially relaxing. Overall, despite the age of the building and outdated rooms, the excellent cleanliness, comfortable beds, outstanding restaurant staff, and spa made the stay enjoyable.
