Nice hotel fine room and nice pool and sauna. Great food. Good food. Friendly and helpful people , nothing is too much to ask.

We booked this hotel based on the many positive reviews, but unfortunately, we cannot understand them. Overall, the hotel seems rather old-fashioned and does not meet what we consider a typical 4-star standard. The food was overall okay, but nothing special. Especially the fish at the evening buffet was unfortunately very dry. Also, the labeling of the dishes was rather poor. While a menu was available, one often had to guess what exactly was offered, especially with the desserts. The wellness area also did not convince us. The sauna area is very small and has only four loungers. During our stay, the steam room was out of order, and the shower was also defective: The water ran continuously and could not be turned off properly. When water did come, it came out with an extremely strong jet that was uncomfortable to painful on the skin. We had booked a standard double room, but we received an apartment instead. If we had wanted an apartment, we would have booked one intentionally. Therefore, we were not satisfied with the room assignment. Additionally, we had to walk across the street in our bathrobes from the apartment to the wellness area, which was also uncomfortable. At breakfast, there were canned fruits among other things, and no boiled eggs. Furthermore, there was no bottle of water in the room, which we are used to even in simpler hotels. We were particularly surprised that there was neither shower gel nor shampoo available – we have never experienced that in a 4-star hotel before. Even smaller details left a poor impression: For example, the shandy was poured in such a way that there was almost only Sprite at the bottom and mainly beer on top, which of course affected the taste. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio does not meet our expectations. Additionally, an energy surcharge was now also calculated, which further worsened the overall impression. Overall, we were unfortunately disappointed with the stay and would not choose this hotel again.

After 2 bad experiences I have to report this here. I'm not big on negative listings but this hotel really "deserves" one. Not customer friendly, not thinking along in solutions and only out to make money. Making money is allowed, but in a good way with due regard for customer satisfaction, which is not here, scandalously treated and spoken to, unfortunately
