Mavida Balance Hotel & Spa

Our stay at HAIDVOGL MAVIDA Zell am See was for one night while passing through. Overall, the hotel left a stylish and modern impression with an exceptionally beautiful wellness area, which definitely ranks among the highlights of the establishment. The service in the restaurant was also exceptionally attentive and professional in the evening. The dishes themselves were good and presented appealingly. For a place that presents itself with a very exclusive claim, we would have wished for a bit more refinement and uniqueness in the dishes. We see potential for improvement particularly in the overall service. Unfortunately, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff varied significantly during our stay — from very warm and engaged to rather distant and inattentive as well as unfriendly. Especially the breakfast service seemed organizationally not optimally coordinated and left much to be desired in terms of attentiveness and guest orientation. A small practical note for guests with larger vehicles or greater height: The covered garage or driveway is quite low in places, so one should really be attentive here. Overall, still a stylish hotel with a high wellness factor and potential for improvement, particularly in the area of service consistency and gastronomic exclusivity.

The hotel is beautifully located and has an excellent SPA area. Free parking is available directly at the hotel and the staff at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating.
