Pension Waldkrieber

Wintertime i don t know. However: Good breakfast and clean rooms. Very close 400 m to a magnific and varm lake surounded by alptops, Magnificiant. Also good bar and clean beach along the water. Highly recommended, i will return one day.

Pension Waldkrieber is a very rustic and nice place to stay. The rooms are spacey and clean with large balconies and good private bathrooms. The included breakfast is very adequate and wholesome. The only real downside is the problem with finding the place. Your GPS might send you astray, as ours did. Your best bet at getting there is to stay on Gailtal Strasse until you reach Schluga Seecamping Nature Park. Take the exit to the camping site there, and then follow the small dirt road to your left (running alongside Gailtal Strasse). This road will take you straight to the establishment.

It is a classical Austrian guesthouse. The sleeping is good, breakfast is good, the rooms are oldish, but good enough. At least it is clean, so no complains. If you drive by navigation, don't believe TT. Go to the Schluga Seecamping, but if you turn from the B111 to the camping, not go right to the camping, but go left. After +/- 600 meter go to the right.
