As a 3* hotel, this place does its job perfectly. Others have mentioned that some of the rooms are a bit dated but frankly they remain very much the Austrian standard and are spotlessly clean and well maintained with comfortable bedding. I was slightly hesitant knowing the evening meals are buffet style having always experienced such excellent half board in Austria. However, the concern was not necessary and the quality of food was certainly better than expected, with great choices. The location is frankly hard to beat. Any closer to the gondola would be too noisy, but you remain just a couple of minutes walk from everything you could want. Our rear facing room was generally very peaceful. Finally, thank you to the lovely staff who tolerated my terrible German despite their perfect English - but I like that they let me practice! My only very minor feedback would be that the games room has a lot of unrealised potential. I think if they smarten up this rather neglected space it could bring much more bar revenue. I should add, the bar and lounge are lovely.

I stayed in August with the family... the hotel is very clean, the rooms spacious with a nice balcony and private parking. The staff was always friendly and helpful, excellent buffet formula for both breakfast and dinner, because you eat well, but so you have the opportunity to take what you prefer, with a child is a nice comfort. Perhaps the only flaw, is the furniture a bit dated but still everything is working and very clean. Great location, with a nice playground and bike path in front of the hotel. Excellent value for money

Family 3 stars hotel with very friendly staff. Parking area 20 meters from the hotel main entrance (excellent). Hotel is old (you get the feeling immediately from the bathrooms) but has been renovated few times in steps and compensate very well the age with very clean rooms and common areas. Breakfast has been more than good, as well as dinner, both with buffet formula (that is pretty nice also for kids). Location is good, not far from many activities and in any case, for people that, like me, doesn’t like to drive when on Holidays, well connected with local busses (on time and every 15-20 minutes). Highly reccomended.
