We booked this hotel deliberately because it was designated as dog friendly online. The shock was all the greater when we were tackled on arrival with our dog. Instead of a friendly welcome, we were taught condescendingly and rudely that dogs were “not actually welcome” here. Excuse me?! If dogs are not wanted, you should communicate this clearly and honestly on the website – and not let guests book under false conditions, only to treat them like troublemakers on site. The behaviour of the staff was unacceptable: patchy, unprofessional and absolutely outrageous. We felt extremely uncomfortable and were treated like second class guests – just because we had our dog with us. Conclusion: If you are travelling with a dog, you should make a big bow around this hotel. And who values hospitality, by the way.

The food was ok, very Greek in style (hummus, salad with olives, etc.), the selection became less and less towards the end of our week, and the breakfast buffet increasingly had leftover cheese from the previous days. Food for children was classically unimaginative; spaghetti Bolognese was on the menu, but could no longer be ordered from the fourth day onwards. The management of the hotel was friendly and accommodating. The management of the restaurant behaved increasingly unprofessionally and reacted more than annoyed to questions about ingredients in the dishes (garlic intolerance). The children and an elderly person were treated completely disrespectfully.

Nice hotel in the denter of Zell am Ziller. The skibus stops at 50m and brings you in 5 minutes to the lifts. The rooms are nice with balcony. Breakfast and diner is in buffetstyle and exists of 4 course. Very good quality and a lot of variation.
