Decided on a whim to book a short trip for Pentecost online through the city's tourism website, completely without complications. Stay for three nights, pay for two in a single room for EUR 170. Location: optimal, between the main train station and the old town, free parking space in the courtyard. Room on the 3rd floor facing the courtyard, absolutely quiet. According to the type plate in the elevator, the building has existed since at least 1960, likely renovated in 2020 and is very well maintained. Refrigerator and air conditioning work well. Room was clean, cleaned daily, and sufficiently spacious. Breakfast is available from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM with a very extensive selection and is continuously replenished. Personal requests, such as, fried eggs are accommodated. About four to five times a year, I stay in different hotels, but this one is a little hidden gem: great location, friendly staff, excellent service - please keep it up! There are also areas for improvement to mention: The toothbrush cups need more attention, as does the exhaust opening in the bathroom, and on the second and third days, the offered soft-boiled eggs were hard-boiled - but that's all.

What a dive! Park your car at the back and have it checked by the locals in this neighbourhood of many nations as soon you walked around the corner to the reception. We walked straight back out into another hotel. No refund was given on request, nor the option of another room from front desk. No offerings on a dispute solution. Admin careless about patrons safety and comfort. I would not call this box a 4 star hotel rather than an overpriced neglected hour stay. Be wise, don’t stay at this dive. It’s horrid at best.

Structure close enough to the center within walking distance. Large rooms , recently renovated although with suboptimal lighting . Good breakfast quite varied. Unpleasant Absence of concierge after eight in the evening , carpet rather dirty in the corridors . Cleanliness in the rooms and bathrooms not excellent. Overall the property looks like a good three stars and consequently the price is slightly too high
