Gasthof Bokan

I went to Styria with a tour group and we had booked four nights at the Hotel Bokan in Graz. I had a very spacious double room for single use. The room had everything a comfortable, practically new hotel room needs. A wonderful mattress, enough storage space, TV, safe, bathroom with separate toilet, snow-white towels, hairdryer... I particularly liked the fact that I was on the "balcony side". In other words, I had a complete glass front to a continuous balcony. Since a sturdy slatted blind was installed in front of all of these floor-to-ceiling doors/windows, I could set the slats to "air flow" at night and leave the balcony door wide open. And now for the food: the breakfast was super-plentiful and super-good (I have never seen so much salmon served in any other hotel, for example). There was also sausage, ham, cheese, muesli, various eggs, and various breads. Hot drinks and lots of water and juices were also available. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant. Each of them had a three-course meal, which was also very plentiful and very tasty. I also have to mention the great decor in the rooms and hallways: there were beautiful paintings by the Austrian Christian Andreolli hanging everywhere, abstract or abstracting. As I am a painter myself, I was particularly impressed by this abundance of great paintings. And everyone I met in this hotel - whether the owner or the staff - were very, very friendly and accommodating. In a word: YOU CAN ONLY FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE IN THIS HOTEL. THANK YOU!!!

I travel for work and often come here. I always stay in this hotel and the rooms are wide and clean, food is very good and staff very polite - I am lactose intolerant so I always ask for changes while I eat there. The receptionist Bettina is amazing!

The rooms are big and clean. The shower is ok and the breakfast is good. The internet connection it works only in the ground floor in the rooms is terrible. The service in general is ok. It is a long way from the center, but if you have a cars it not a problem.
