Riedz Apartments

The location is perfect for a (hiking) vacation without a car: directly on bus line J (Nordkette - city center - Patscherkofel), free public transport thanks to the Welcome Card, bakery is across the street, supermarket around the corner, recommended: Trattoria-Pizzeria Due Sicilie. Small highlights were: the bottle of wine as a welcome, the filled coffee machine, the view of the mountains (apartment "Ausgugg"), the laundry room, and the garden with pool. The church bells ring early, but you get used to it quickly.

A well appointed comfortable large apartment. We stayed in Ausggang with a balcony with views up to Nordkette. Huge bathroom always warm. Great rainshower. Lots of reviews mention the church opposite and the bells, which start at 6am until 10pm. It really didn't affect us, although 57 rings at 7am is bit much. 10 minutes walk to the old town. Hill back up is steep but shouldn't affect you if you are fit. Pharmacy close by plus cafes and a supermarket 5 minutes up the road. Buses stop a minute or so walk away. If you are skiing then families to store skis. Washing machines, games room and a private garden gor the summer. Parking available for free if you book direct.

Very nice apartment; bright, clean and spacious! Wonderful views, we enjoyed breakfast as well as afternoons on one of the two balconies. Quiet neighbourhood, though still at a short walking distance from the city centre.
