Romantik Hotel Boeglerhof

We had a dreamlike stay in the newly renovated section in a very elegant, large room. The sauna area and the various swimming options are very nice. The food and service are excellent. We would especially like to highlight that the hotel kindly and free of charge sent us some clothing items that we had forgotten. Everything fits together!

We’ve visited Alpbach more than 30 times, but this was only the second time we’d stayed at the Böglerhof. It was a real treat to stay there and I plan to go back next year. We were travelling with our 2 children and their partners, and our two 2 year old grandchildren It’s a fabulous hotel, with lovely friendly staff, very comfortable rooms, delicious food and excellent facilities. It somehow manages to combine a 5 star resort for adults with a child friendly environment. The family pool was great for our two toddlers, and they enjoyed the playroom and the garden. It’s very centrally located and convenient for the ski bus.

The best ski hotel I have ever stayed in, from the moment we arrived to leaving, service was exceptional and everyone went that extra mile. You can tell this a family run hotel, where everyone cares and takes pride in their job. It’s well run and everything is of high quality. Lots of little touches like the board at the front of the hotel with the names of the guests arriving that day. We had a standard room which was spacious and immaculately clean. The bed was a little firm for me which was soon rectified by a topper and extra pillows, readily supplied. The bar is a great place to spend a pre dinner or after dinner drinks, it oozes quality and has a great ambience and very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast there are buffet options and table service for cooked options and drinks. What was a real winner for us was the buffet lunch served from 2-4pm as we like to go out skiing early and come back mid afternoon. Dinner is 5 course which could become 6 if you add a cheese course, that starts with a salad buffet, which pays not to get too carried away with! Everything is 5 star quality and individual dishes small, so you can enjoy them all. There is a choice for each course and an alternative if either of these don’t appeal plus an option to pay a little extra for specialities. The spa is out of this world, the Finnish sauna show at 4.30 & 5.30 pm for about 20 mins is amazing! Very hot waves of scented air wafted at you by the sauna master while music pumped out is an experience not to be missed. All while having a great view of the mountains. There is also steam room and normal sauna plus outside pool and relaxation room. We have visited 5 star spa’s before but Boglerhof is the best with lots magical touches and luxury feel throughout. Perfectly placed for ski bus which stops outside and 10 mins down the road to nearest ski lift. We had a great stay and wish we had found this hotel sooner, we will definitely return to ski next year and are hoping to make a trip in September.
