Very friendly boss, sour and cozy rooms, perfect bus connection to the ski lift, it were wonderful days in St. Anton, thank you we will be back.

Lovely hotel, lovely staff. I can't in all honesty give 5 stars because the rooms, though spacious, are quirky/dated depending on your point of view (especially the bathrooms) BUT we wouldn't hesitate to return because everything else is wonderful: the family and their staff, the food, the bar, the pool and spa (alternative shower), the taxi service, or the frequent bus service 2 minutes away. We were particularly impressed with the food - varied, fresh and lots of it - 5 courses on offer for dinner and the mixed first course alone was worth the admission money. The boot room provision (racks rather then lockers) next to the huge Galzig lift worked really well (no need to cart your skis around) and it took exactly 5 minutes from leaving at 8.30 am to get there; the alternative No.3 bus opposite the hotel took 10 mins (and the same time to return). So any concerns that the hotel was a bit remote were misplaced (and it's only a 10 minute walk to the on-piste apres-ski bars if that's your thing). The owners are justly proud of this super hotel in this fabulous resort. If you're looking for a quiet inexpensive cafe in town, try Kathi's Back Werk - we went every day. If you prefer to be ripped off, try anywhere on-piste in Lech. As for skiiing, just go to Zurs (via the infamous 100, quite possibly the steepest blue in the Alps).

Had a fantastic stay here while skiing solo in St Anton. All the staff are a credit to the hotel ensuring guests have a wonderful stay. I have severe food allergies and naturally I’m always nervous when travelling abroad. However, Corinne and her family and the staff went the extra mile to ensure I felt safe and was able to eat a fab menu during my stay. Special shout out to Anchor, Goran, Matteo and the chefs. Fantastic five-course meal every night and big breakfast to set you up for the day. Single rooms are simple, clean and comfy and just right for the price point. Showers could do with an upgrade to modernise them but not a dealbreaker. Fantastic atmosphere in the hotel bar at the end of the day with fellow guests. Free shuttle bus to and from the centre (5min journey) and bus stop right outside so getting around is super easy. You also get a free heated locker right by the gondola to store your skis, helmet and boots. Hotel has indoor pool, sauna and steam room to relax after a day on the slopes and never gets busy. Met regulars who have returned over and over again for many years while there being greeted like family by the owners and can see why. Will definitely stay here again if I return to St Anton.
