Hotel-Garni Jakober

I recently spent three weeks at this hotel and couldn’t have been more impressed. The décor is stunning — a perfect blend of rustic charm and refined elegance, with rich wooden accents and luxurious Persian rugs that give the entire place a warm, welcoming character. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day, and I always returned to a fresh, tidy space. Service throughout my stay was consistently excellent, with staff going above and beyond to make me feel at home. A special mention to the friendly and attentive manager (Brigitte), who made sure every guest was looked after with genuine care. Each morning started with a delicious breakfast — fresh, generous, and served with a smile. And the amenities? Exceptional. The complimentary sauna and steam room were a real treat after long days out, and the free tea and coffee stations were a thoughtful touch that made relaxing on-site even more enjoyable.

On the 23rd of April 2025 I stayed at the Jakober hotel in Tux with my family and I had a wonderful experience. The location of the hotel was not exactly central or close to the ski slopes in reality It was a 10 minute drive but the Hotel had very nice wiews, the hotel Is also close to a nice Trail that goes along a clean and stunning river with lots of nice places to take photos.At First I had the impression that the hotel was understaffed but then I realised that the Woman running the hotel was very polite and professional so She made made out experience even Better.The hotel also had a Ski room service which wasn't the best but It was nice and next to It there was a ping pong table and a spa which are wonderful services and I am glad that the hotel offered them.The room on the other hand wasn't as nice Because It was really old style so It was like a Little apartment with two big and comfy bedrooms with bathrooms whilst also having a kitchen; everything was clean and well-kept. In the end we had a really good experience so I would suggest this Hotel to anyone visiting the Hintertux glacier.

The Hotel Garni Jakober impressed us across the board. A successful stay in a particularly clean hotel that impresses with its very good location and friendly atmosphere. The hotel manager Birgit Stock is helpful, professional and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast: Large selection plus fresh egg dishes on request. The sauna area was very pleasant. We would gladly come back!
