Park Inn Linz

Our stay was dominated by the stupidity of staff giving key cards to a newly checking-in guest half way through our stay. He let himself into our room just as one of us was coming out of the shower! There was no call from staff to apologise after he had returned to reception to get a vacant room. When we went to reception we extracted an apology and by way of compensation were offered one voucher for a complementary drink at the bar…. as if we were expected to share it! You wonder if Radisson has even heard of the recent scandals of keys being given for rooms occupied by others! Extra care should be being taken everywhere. Our experience was totally unacceptable. Them taking three days to get our in-room safe working paled by comparison, as did an over-busy breakfast when most of the buffet items ran out and staff seemed not to notice. Book somewhere else.

A very comfortable stay at this hotel. Beds were comfy and the room excellently sound-proofed. The a/c was much needed and appreciated. Room would benefit from blackout curtains/blinds, but other than that it was very good. The breakfast, though, is expensive for what it is and I was disappointed to see dogs allowed in this area. Staff were excellent and very helpful throughout. Location is also very good. Would definitely return.

Had a one night stopover here on our road trip, that took us through Linz. All in all it became a stay with no surprises. Positives: - Pleasant guy at the front desk, checking us in - Clean room - Good location Neutral: - Parking garage (€18/night I think) - Everything being typical Park Inn - No upgrade as Premium, but we got noticed upon check-in Negatives: - Expensive breakfast - Woman besides the pleasant guy checking us in, was hanging on her phone (probably off work) besides the front desk, while seeing that the line got longer. After a little while she wandered off to the back office, but either you do your part in helping out or you don't hang by the front desk at all.
