Arkadenhof Hotel

Location- brilliant, its near the brown and green metro line and near a convient tram system that brings you down straight to the city centre. Supermarkets like ALDI and BILLA are extremely close by. Rooms- not good enough! The furniture is dated and cheap. It was 38 degrees and the AC was crap it only releases lukewarm air, in alternative a standard fan is in the room but doesnt tackle the humatity properaly. Cleanliness- awful just awful! They are stains on the wall I say from 1991 and the rug gives you the creepy crawlys when looking at it becuase of how dirty it was. The cleaning staff either have poor communication or are simply lazy because on the first day they never cleaned the room, another day they took all the towels but never replaced them. They dont hoover the floor and empty the bin into a plastic bag to leave in the room. Also they use a dirty old sock to cover the smoke detector.

It really is a bit dirty and there is no air conditioning. The safe doesn’t work, the bathroom counter is pealing badly, and the fridge is…a bit…moldy and useless. That being said, it isn’t absolutely horrible. Yes, it needs a major redo, but it’s not the worst I’ve stayed in. Robert, at the desk, was very helpful getting us checked in a bit early.

An ok hotel. The rooms are well lived in. Close to transit systems in the city.
