Aldano Serviced Apartments

I would strongly warn against renting this apartment! The landlady Daniela is a thief! As soon as you leave the apartment for a day, she takes advantage of the absence, sneaks into the room and steals things! Unfortunately, you only notice the loss too late when you are already home! I'm writing this review so no one else falls into this trap! This is a bitter story from my own experience. This person is cunning and bona fide! I had expensive perfumes, change and toiletries stolen from me, and I noticed that my things were no longer where I had put them! How sick must someone be, a kleptomaniac, to do such a thing! Too bad that not everyone is checked out when renting! This lady is polite. In reality, the result is a bitter disappointment!

Centrally located appartments in the 3.Bezirk. Good connectivity via Subway and Bus to the city. Easy checkin, detailed info via email upfront. Parking is tricky, need to use public garage one Subway station away. Very small elevator (1 person and luggage only). Several good restaurants nearby. We took the decision to book at the ALDANO in Vienna based on management pictures on website and overall ratings online. Unfortunately we experienced a dirty appartment with major security issues, but see our list: 1. Freezer integrated in the refrigerator could not be used. Completely covered with ice and has not been defrosted for a long time. 2. Knobs of a (shaky) floor lamp were missing. 3. Blinds: One next to the kitchen was down and could not be moved. One blind next to entry could only be moved partially. Blind in sleeping room could not be fully moved to ensure darkness. 4. Wardrobes: 3 large standing cooling fans in 2 wardrobes eating up a lot of valuable space. (No need of cooling fans in december!) 5. Bathroom: Cover of air condition not attached, but later found - totally dirty - on top of a cabinet in the bathroom. (Disgusting!) 6. Toilet lid, asymmetrical mounted (could have been fixed easily) 7. Overhead light in bathroom, missing bulbs 8. Very small sleeping room - only one bedside cabinet. (way below standard.) 9. Extractor hood in the kitchen was oily, greasy and has not been cleaned at all 10. Fire detector in the kitchen obviously out of order - looked charred with signs of smoke. (SECURITY issue) 11. Toaster, broken cover resulting in severe security issues as it operates with 220V (SECURITY issue) 12. No pillowcases available for extra pillows 13: Finally, no information brochure in the appartement. Problems have been afterwards reported to management. They offered 1 free night (along with a new booking of min. 2 nights?) - but not a single comment on our various findings or how to improve. Looks like they don’t care about the well being & safety of their guests. We can definitely not recommend the ALDANO! One of the worst appartments where we’ve ever stayed.

Me and my boyfriend went to this apartment just for 3 nights. The apartment is really nice, warm and clean. Is it not in the city center but very close to the metro station or bus. The kitchen is very equipped!
