My 1st impression - what an oasis of calm. Extremely nice welcome. Connected to the reception is the cozy and original Green Bar: Drink service until 11 p.m., flavored water and filter coffee available for free, apples are also provided. Wildly romantic, idyllic courtyard garden with numerous comfortable seating options. Double room with garden view: Extremely comfortable beds, desk with chair, as well as an armchair with a small table, carpeted floor. Shower rather small - anyone needing more space should book a higher category. Total peace and quiet - we had the window open all night. The extensive, high-quality breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired - organic, regional, seasonal. Even as a vegetarian, there is a rich selection; I was particularly impressed by the numerous homemade spreads such as spinach-bean spread, hummus, tomato-basil. You can also eat breakfast outdoors - in the lushly planted courtyard oasis.

The ratings for this property on Booking and Tripadvisor are extremely high and frankly incomprehensible. Outdated rooms with carpet. No air conditioning, only fans. It's a pity that in Vienna, as in all of Europe, it gets hot, actually very hot in June. Bathroom in the room is questionable (a kind of prefabricated storage space made inside the room). No courtesy kit. No minibar, so even if you buy something, you can only leave it in the heat. All in the name of a supposed green policy that actually results in a lack of services. In light of this, the staff was kind, courteous, and efficient. When we pointed out that the room on the street had unreasonable temperatures, they moved us to the garden side (warm, yes, but at least sustainable). Very good location with the metro and especially trams nearby. About 20 minutes to get to the center. In Vienna, getting around with public transport is excellent. Excellent breakfast for those who prefer savory options, as there are more choices available, but much less for the sweet part, which is lacking. However, the location and breakfast alone cannot in any way compensate for unacceptable shortcomings. The air conditioning and the bathroom above all. Overall, the experience was not negative but disappointing given the hotel reviews. I would say it is not discouraged but should be weighed based on what one expects from a place with these reviews. When I select a property on Booking, I always start with the user ratings. In this case, inexplicably high: the first scam I have ever encountered on Booking. The property is certainly valid but absolutely overrated: "overrated." As far as I am concerned, it is just below the threshold of 8 on Booking and just below 4 on Tripadvisor. I give it three because four is still too much.

Great solution, I stayed with my daughter in this beautiful hotel, furnished in a style definitely by some architect. Large and comfortable room. Excellent reception service, pleasant staff who work well together. A good work team. Clean environments, clean rooms. The internal courtyard is lovely where one can relax in a green oasis. The BREAKFAST is nothing short of EXCELLENT, all products of GREAT QUALITY organic, lavender honey is excellent considering it is made in Vienna (in a city).
