Der Wilhelmshof Hotel

From the moment we entered the hotel to our leave, everything was excellent. The greeting team, the staff at breakfast; whoever cleaned our room always put our girls little toy on her pillow, greeting her back from an exhausting day. A liitle gesture, but a show of a good soul. Breakfast was pure quality. Not a giant “buffet” but a nice selection of quality decent products with a more than adequete collection of pastries. The location is golden. I’m telling you, a 3-4 minute walk to the metro station. And a few hundred meters from that, Prater Park. What an absolute gem. The Metro station is Praterstern. A direct S7 line to the airport. If I wrote this all down for a hotel wishlist, I’d be thrown out from the travel agent! And the metro station is only a short trip from all the Vienna hotspots. After many hours of travel, a canceled flight, and a lost suitcase, arriving at Der Wilhelmshof was a true relief. From the first moment, they welcomed us with extraordinary kindness and made us feel at home. During our stay, they helped us print train tickets and tickets for the Austrian Grand Prix. We never felt that our requests were a bother. I don't remember the names of everyone who assisted us, but I do remember Paulina's, whose warmth perfectly reflects the treatment we received from the entire team. It is difficult to find a hotel with its own personality; this one has it. Its decor mixes different styles and ensures that each space has a special character. We requested a triple room and had enough space to move around without any problem. Our teenage son is very tall and his bed was very comfortable for him. The breakfast has a very good variety and quality products. Also, in about five minutes walking you can reach the Praterstern station, from where it is very easy to get anywhere in Vienna. Two days after returning to Mexico, my son asked a question: "When we return to Vienna, can we stay at the same hotel?" The three of us answered at the same time: "Yes!" Thanks to Paulina and the entire team at Der Wilhelmshof for being part of such a special trip. We hope to return very soon.

We loved this hotel! Family of four with a 14 year old and 11 year old from the states. The hotel had real air conditioning! Breakfast was lovely. Hotel is clean!!!! Front desk and staff are so nice! Hotel located in a great quiet neighborhood in the 2nd district close to public transport to the city center. Close to grocery stores which was great for picking up bottles of water. Booked a family room and they upgraded us to a suite and what was so great was that the toilet room was separate from the shower which is great for families! Also double sinks! Another great for families. Everything was new and modern!
