Art Hotel Vienna

Very convenient hotel for transportation, including subway, bus, and tram, as well as for restaurants, bars, shops, and supermarkets. Quiet room with comfortable beds. Room cleaning and towel change available upon request. The staff at the desk is very kind and helpful. Free Wi-Fi

I was a guest of the Art Hotel for three days from 5 to 7 December. We arrived on the 5th evening at midnight, there was no one in reception, however with the instructions that had been sent to us by email we managed to open the front door. First difficulty: finding our room. The elevator only takes you to the 6th floor, our room was on the 7th and (we weren’t the only ones!) we initially had difficulty figuring out how to get to the 7th. Once you find the room, the same opens with a code that you type on the handle; the room is small, well furnished but the French door is armored, there is no possibility to open it. There are the attic windows that do not close perfectly, so a little current arrives. Old, pierced sheets. Dust on the floor. Cleaning is not included; if you want it you must request it. The room also includes a refrigerator, a kitchen sink and an induction hob. All in about 30 square meters. In the bathroom we found towels too small for the shower. A hotel I would not recommend.

Given that it is not really downtown, but we moved with Uber for convenience, but it is well connected. Nearby there is the chocolate museum that is very nice to see and in any case you find places where you can eat. We eventually opted for apartment and did not regret it. We had the A1. Maybe much better than the rooms. The guys at reception were very nice. Every day they changed towels and arranged beds on request! Very large apartment comfortable, well furnished. With beds for all guests. Only advice a little more cleaning for sofa / carpet and upholstery chairs, and vacuum cleaner. It was like having a home in Vienna! Recommended 🙂
