Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the single room that was assigned to me here for the proud price of almost 150 €. It is a small room that is divided by a thick wall. On the side where the bed is, there is no window. That feels more like a basement room and not like a high-priced "comfort single room." On the other side is a small window with a desk and a chair/armchair. I did not feel comfortable here. It may be that other rooms in the hotel are nicer. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this to anyone looking for an appealing single room.

The hotel manager seems primarily interested in revenue. In our emergency, the hotel showed no willingness to accommodate us. No solution was offered during the cancellation, and we were insisted upon the full total costs. The reviews indicate that similar experiences have apparently been made by other guests as well.

A friendly stay with a historic touch We were traveling as a company of four and had reserved three rooms in total. Upon arrival, I was informed that my room was unavailable due to sanitary conditions, even though the other two rooms were ready for the rest of our group. The receptionist was very helpful and had already arranged a room for me at a partner hotel nearby. The manager also kindly assured me that I was still welcome to join the other guests for breakfast each morning. The hotel itself has a charming history dating back to 1806. It began as a café before evolving into what it is today. The atmosphere is warm and the staff are genuinely friendly. A nice touch: on Fridays and weekends, the staff wear traditional clothing, which really adds to the historic feel. Not the start we expected, but the hospitality turned it around. A lovely historic spot, despite the hiccup with the room, the staff handled it professionally and the historic charm won us over..
