Hotel Weisses Kreuz

Perfect hotel.. Excellent food, pleasant and efficient staff, very comfortable rooms. A moving moment at departure with a towel with the hotel's name as a gift and the goodbye from all the staff at the foot of the coach. Thank you for everything.

Three-day stay, with an organized bus trip along with a large group of participants, at this very well-structured hotel. The owners and staff were very friendly, always kind, attentive to the needs of the guests. All areas very clean. The cuisine was excellent with, above all, fantastic breakfasts with many offerings for both savory and sweet. Very large room with extensive use of wood, quiet and overlooking the mountain range, a beautiful view and then the scents of the vegetation (maples, perhaps linden trees, and much more) also from the beautiful park located at the back of the hotel. In the morning it was a true pleasure to wake up to the aforementioned scent and the singing of the birds. Large and well-equipped bathroom. The center of Feldkirch is about 3 km away but also reachable by public transport, for those who do not wish to walk. I would gladly return.

We stayed at the Wiesses Kreuz hotel as part of an organised coach holiday from the UK. This is a lovely hotel with spacious quiet rooms, some with balconies. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Food at breakfast is varied and plentiful - cereals, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled and boiled eggs, hot and cold meats, cheeses, croissants and bread. Dinner is not so good, little variety, hardly any vegetables and some dishes that may not be to British taste (potato dumplings, sauerkraut, beef bone broth) However there was entertainment every night including Austrian folk dancers, horm blowers, accordian players and singers. Just a couple of things to be aware of - the showers in the bathrooms change from scalding hot to cold throughout the shower and the water pressure is very low - don't expect power showers! There are also no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms or fridges. Overall, this hotel is comfortable and and welcoming and made an ideal base for our coach party to explore Austria and surrounding countries. The staff even waved us off as we left this morning after presenting us all with complimentary guest towels. We enjoyed staying at the Weisses Kreuz hotel.
