Central Park Hotel

Very centrally located near Central Park, only 1.2 km from the 28 May metro station. The windows are very well insulated: With the window closed, no street noise can be heard anymore. I found the large, thick pillows quite uncomfortable. There are power outlets next to the bed for charging mobile devices. The air conditioning worked very well. The WiFi reception was completely trouble-free throughout the house. A refrigerator for drinks is available. However, it only works with the inserted room card. Each room receives two 0.5-liter bottles of water every day. The large rooms, some with balconies, are very cozily furnished. The room and bathroom/WC were very clean. There is a shaving mirror in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast was very plentiful. One can have omelets or other egg dishes prepared fresh. (Many thanks again to the nice egg preparer 😊.) There are several juices, tea (unfortunately only from a bag, although a samovar is available), and coffee, hot dishes, several types of sausage and cheese, fresh or marinated vegetables, yogurt, and several types of fruit. The sweets were small portioned. This way, one could try different varieties.

Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs! Our New Year’s stay at this hotel was a complete disaster. We booked 19 rooms, expecting a great experience, but instead faced poor service, security issues, and even theft. Money went missing from our rooms, and staff repeatedly entered without knocking. Management has been completely unresponsive to our complaints. This hotel is untrustworthy—stay elsewhere!
