Grand Hotel

I had a truly wonderful stay at Grand Hotel Baku and would like to express my sincere appreciation to the amazing team who made it so special. A big thank you to Mr. Abbas, the Front Office Manager, for his warm hospitality and professional support throughout my stay. I also want to highlight the excellent service from Mr. Amin at reception, who was always helpful and welcoming, and Mohammed from the bellboy team, who was attentive and courteous. To my surprise, the team arranged a beautiful decoration and a complimentary in my Room, which was such a thoughtful gesture and made our celebration unforgettable. The kindness, professionalism, and genuine care of the staff truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Grand Hotel Baku for anyone looking for not only comfort but also a memorable experience.

The hotel is very old dating back to Soviet times, and the room fittings don't work very well. We booked nine nights but had to leave the hotel after just one night due to a poor adjustment. Even after requesting room change, we encountered the same issue. Images featured at booking sites are completely different to reality. The hotel also has severe staff shortages as the same person does everything: Loading bags, trying to fix the safe and adjustment, and even helping at the restaurant. There is no baggage transfer staff. Plus, the hotel is about a 40-50-minute walk from a regular street. Love

Me and my family were booked into this hotel by Baku Tour Packages, and it turned out to be the best hotel we stayed in during our trip. The entrance leads directly to the reception via an elevator, making it convenient to transport our luggage without struggling with stairs, as is common in many hotels. The staff were exceptionally warm, friendly, and professional, and they spoke English fluently. Our room was stunning, offering a beautiful view of the park. The bathroom was spotless, well-equipped with toiletries, and the plush bed with fluffy pillows and soft bedsheets ensured a restful sleep. The smart TV allowed us to seamlessly connect to our Netflix account, thanks to the excellent Wi-Fi connection. The breakfast spread was delightful, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. Additionally, the hotel features a charming Grand Lounge that serves authentic Azerbaijani cuisine alongside other delectable dishes. What made our stay even more enjoyable was the hotel's budget-friendly rates and its prime location, just a short walk from Nizami Street.
