Irshad Hotel

Our booking agency had done their job not professionally, so this hotel reception had no info about our arrival. But still they manage to arrange a room for us at mid night and sorted the booking issue with the agency the next day without much of our involvement. The hotel staff were so loving and helping for anything we requested. Food was tasty and they even prepared a few items specially for us as we requested. What I needed was a decent comfortable night stay with good breakfast and dinner as I prefer to roam around the whole day till night fall. So Irshad was a pleasant experience for me. I will suggest this hotel to my friends too.

The kind gentleman on reception let us check in early as we turned up at 9am after the overnight train from Tbilisi. While we waited for the room to be prepared he even offered us a free buffet breakfast while we waited. this was so welcoming. Being able to check in early gave us a few hours to nap and then go out and explore Baku. Room was large and comfortable for the price. Breakfast was a buffet, basic but adequate and run my an old Russian lady. Hotel is a little way out of town but we enjoyed the walk and area is very safe. Would stay here again.

The location is pretty good but the taxies are cheap so it doesn't really matter. The staff are very welcoming and doing their best to please you. The reception is open 24/7. The breakfast is very basic so if you are looking for more, just eat outside. Overall the hotel was good enough for my needs because i went for a short trip with my brother. For a couple i will probably recommend on a more fancy hotel.
