Property is generally clean and well maintained, though there were a few broken things in common areas.
Found most, though not all, of the staff difficult to work with, not present, scrolling their phones, or otherwise uninterested in facilitating my stay. When the valets weren't blocking the front door, or the front desk treating you with suspicion, the breakfast waitstaff were ignoring you, or the gym attendant just wasn't there.
If I did it over again, I would have looked at The Hilton or Four Seasons, both of which are proximate. I've typically had good experiences at Marriott properties, so this all came as a surprise.
Also, fair warning, foreign credit cards don't tend to work in Baku. You can prepay your stay at this property, but that won't matter, they will still hassle you if carrying a foreign credit card.
