Qafqaz Baku City Hotel & Residences

My stay at Qafqaz Baku City Hotel & Residences was extremely disappointing. The carpets were old, dirty, and clearly not well maintained. The towels had a rotten smell, which was unacceptable for any hotel. The worst part was my children’s room. It had such a strong, unpleasant odor that it triggered an asthma attack for my son. This was a serious health concern and completely ruined our stay. To make matters worse, the staff had a poor attitude and showed little concern when these issues were raised. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families with children or anyone with respiratory conditions. Never again.

We stayed twice for two nights. The rooms are huge. The room and bathroom are equiped with all amenities. The SPA on the 16th floor includes massage, sauna and hamam. (Massage to be ordered upfront). There is large variety at breakfast. Good service. The only downside was poor condition of the carpets in the room (dirty).

The concern with this hotel is the lack of French language.
