Towne Hotel

The hotel has friendly staff and a good downtown location. However, the property is run-down, dirty, and completely outdated—it’s clear it hasn’t been properly maintained for many years. Everything feels old and worn, and the breakfast is equally disappointing. The internet is poor, and there is no safe in the room. This is definitely not a place I would recommend for tourists. Most of the guests don’t seem to be tourists either, which also affects the overall experience. The hotel does feature a lot of beautiful local art, both inside and outside, but it gets lost among the worn-out and dirty furniture. The entire property is in need of renovation and redesign. Hotels in the Bahamas are generally expensive, but it’s absolutely worth paying more to stay somewhere decent rather than ending up here. I cannot recommend this place at all.

This hotel is very old and not fancy, but it is unique and has a lot of character. The room was clean, the bed was good, the breakfast was sufficient, and the front desk was extremely courteous and helpful. Located in the heart of downtown Nassau, it was the perfect location for what I needed. They could consider adding a few more items to the breakfast selection.

The rooms are clean, and the Chef's curry lamb was tender and delious. It's location is great with a short walk to all the down town shopping. I stayed here before my dive trip and can't wait to come back and explore Nassau properly with the rest of the family.
