Best Western Olaya Suites

I stayed at this hotel for one day with a friend of mine, our room was a twin bed single, the room was very clean, and the view from 7th floot is amazing from a large window you can see most of Manama city, The hotel it self is near to the airport and was built with a classy architectural design. The staff are very cooperative and welcoming, the operation manager also is very gentle and did reassure us to expect an excellent stay and indeed we had, and there are a variety of good services for cheap price. The food is excellent, we also enjoyed the swimming pool and the disco-bar and finished our night with a relaxing massage.

The hotel is average and I chose it for a quick one night stay as it was near to the airport. It was however not a good experience as I was contacted on my room phone at midnight to ask if I wanted a massage followed by a follow up call a few minutes later. I took the phone off the hook. At 2am, 3am and 430 am my room bell was rung and knocking at the door persistently by a group of women asking to be let in for very obvious reasons that they were very clear about. I spoke to reception the next day about this and just got an apology. To access the guest areas you need a room key/pass so it strikes me that this practice is condoned by management. Avoid this place!
