Kempinski Grand And Ixir Hotel Bahrain City Center

I stayed at The Westin Bahrain City Centre for two nights, and I am a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite member. This was my first experience with the Westin brand. First of all, I would like to thank the team for the warm pre-arrival welcome and for upgrading my room to a suite, which was highly appreciated. The staff were respectful and professional, the hotel location is excellent, and the valet parking service was very efficient, well-organized, and convenient. However, unfortunately, the overall experience was not as complete as I expected from a hotel carrying the Westin name. There were several issues that affected the quality of my stay. The bathtub was not clean, and I found hair inside it, most likely from the previous guest. I reported this to the reception, and while the room was cleaned afterward, the bathtub itself was not properly cleaned. As a result, I did not use the bathtub at all during my entire stay. In addition, the bathrobe that was already in the room was torn and worn out. I requested two additional bathrobes, and both were delivered; however, unfortunately, one of them had makeup stains on it. I also noticed that the towels, bathrobes, and pillows had an unpleasant musty smell, which is not acceptable for a hotel of Westin’s standard. Furthermore, the air conditioning in the corridors was very weak, and the corridors had a stale, unpleasant smell, which also affected the overall impression outside the room. I truly hoped that my first stay with Westin would be a complete and memorable experience, especially considering the warm welcome, the suite upgrade, and the professionalism of the staff. Unfortunately, some basic details related to cleanliness, linen quality, and overall freshness significantly impacted my stay. I hope these comments will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately. The hotel has excellent potential in terms of location, service, and staff, but the cleanliness standards and attention to detail should match the reputation and quality expected from a respected hotel brand like Westin.

I had a wonderful experience at Furn Bistro and Bakery at The Westin Hotels and Resort. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the hospitality made the visit very comfortable and enjoyable. A special thanks to Chef Pramod and his staff members for their warm welcome, professionalism, and outstanding service throughout the experience. Everything was handled with great care, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good food, great service, and a memorable dining experience.
