Colony Club

Really good ! But….We stayed there 3 years ago for 3 days after a Ritz Carlton Cruise (highly recommended if you are loaded, cruise i mean) had wonderful room with ground floor and wonderful swim up patio with nice furniture on said patio. Returned this past May after it became MarriotBonvoy. Booked and paid months in advance and reserved and paid extra for the ground floor swim up room as i have 70 year old knees and a wobbly walk. Was told at check in the room we reserved (so we were told) and paid extra for was unavailable (?). Had second floor room with nice balcony and beautiful view, As i am glass half full guy and happy to be able to afford nice vacay i accepted it good with good nature. Upon return, all i good from Marriot was stonewalling. They claimed they opened a file and I would be happy with a discount on next trip , but it’s been a month and all i get is…..well stonewalling. Other than that, Mrs Lincoln, how was the play? Excellent! Believe all the accolades !!! We will return in April of ‘27,!! Breakfast is included and when a staffer saw me putting some croissants (best i ever had! You can smell them being fresh baked in afternoons ) and fruit to take to my GF, they rushed over and sealed up the plate and provided utensils!! In April/may when we were there we had no problem securing a beachfront chair umbrella setup! We took the water taxi where it stops at all marriot properties. It was worth doing for the beach and other property views , but one fly in ointment was on the last one we were “forced” of the boat and had to go to beach for 45 minutes. We would have rather stayed on boat which was anchored just off shore. Suppose they wanted us to purchase resort priced drinks. !!! All in all, very nice and planning on returning; may not pay extra for desired room though!

Colony Club is a truly fantastic hotel. From the moment you arrive, you’re made to feel welcome, the team are warm, friendly and incredibly efficient. Check-in was seamless and we were settled into our room within minutes, which set the tone for the whole stay. We had visited before the refurbishment and loved it then, so were really interested to see the changes—and they’ve done a brilliant job. The bathrooms are now absolutely luxurious with lovely toiletries, and the bedrooms have been beautifully updated with thoughtful touches like a Nespresso machine, good quality teas and fine china crockery. The grounds and facilities are beautiful, lush and tropical. There’s plenty of space to relax, with lots of comfortable sunbeds and access to a gorgeous beach. We travelled with teenage boys and the complimentary watersports were a huge hit, as were the paddle courts- definitely a highlight of the trip. The restaurant was good, with a varied menu and live music on several evenings which added to the overall atmosphere. The Cocktails were wonderful. The location in Holetown is also a big plus, with plenty of great restaurants nearby for all budgets. What really makes Colony Club stand out though is the staff. The level of service and genuine warmth from everyone we encountered made the stay extra special. We’ll definitely be back.

A very good stay at this smallish resort. Standard breakfast buffet. Good WiFi. Good bed and linens. Plenty of beach loungers both sun and shade. Caribbean water— smiles. Only a twenty minute walk into town for dining off property. Easy transport to and from BGI airport.
