Expectations created by the webiste were not met. Noice of music in the morning, smelly room, minibar not filled on day one, second day 3 soft drinks were paced in the room but not in the frigde. Wellness was open but only 1 sauna operational, steambath was not available. Roofterras that was announced on the news seemed empty and abonned, no service was offered there for a drink. Young personel at reception nd breakfast was friendly but clearly needs to be trained better in providing customer delight: when asked, they were helpfull but tables were not cleaned fast enough, mil in coffee machine was not filled and customers struggling to get a latté were left to struggle until they took initiative themselves to ask the personel. On the positve side: great location, beautiful design, breakfast was good and the rainshower great.

Out of the 3 nights of our stay, we had 2 nights with full lighting. The light could not be turned off. One night we had flashing lights all night long and then full light in all colors. It is impossible to sleep like that. After multiple conversations with the staff at the reception, the problem should have been resolved. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Upon departure, I was assured that I would receive a call. I had made the suggestion that we be credited for one night. Because for 173 €/night, one would also like to be able to sleep. I did not receive a call, and there was also no reaction to my email. I travel a lot, know many hotels, sometimes something might not be right, but a problem can always be solved in some form. There were only promises that were not kept. I have never experienced anything like this!

We can't thank Betal and Emma enough for their warm welcome and for being so accommodating throughout our stay. They made us feel genuinely looked after. The hotel is lovely, with an excellent location that's just a short walk from both the station and the town centre. I would highly recommend the Deluxe Double Room with a bath, it's a little something out of the ordinary and made our stay even more special. We will definitely be back. Management should be incredibly proud of the team, whose excellent service made our visit so enjoyable. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
