BEST WESTERN PLUS HOTEL CASTEA

We stayed here because we attended a Gender Reveal nearby and didn't want to risk the ride home afterwards. Ample parking, friendly reception, clean rooms with air conditioning which is very welcome at the moment! Not much to say about this hotel. Some minus, but of course they could not help it, in the morning we had no hot water for the shower because of a breakdown of the heating boiler.

We received a bongo and I had seen this hotel as the only one where we'd get unlimited access to spa and 2 nights. There was an issue with the reservation and they were really helpful to mediate with Bongo. In the end we managed to file the reservation. It is a great team very dedicated and caring. We were very warmly welcomed and received a drink at the bar, a nice atmosphere. As it was late already, they indicated a list of restaurants close by, ranging from a walking distance to a few km away. We went to an Italian restaurant close to SHAPE (Also a very friendly service). The next morning, we had an excellent breakfast, once again with very friendly attendance. Then we did some sight-seeing around (Seneffe Castle, the boat-lift...) in the early evening we enjoyed unlimited access to the Wellness. This time we went to the center of Mons for diner and party. The next day, we had breakfast again and left. There is enough variety for the breakfast so you have different things every day. One thing to notice, as well, is that there was a bus of tourists arriving at 11pm. I know it only because they informed us upfront. We were not at all disturbed by noise or anything. You can barely ear the neighbors actually. The rooms are well designed, balanced and clean. The shower isn't very big, but it is recent and well maintained. There is a kettle and some products at your disposal. With the heat, it was also a big relief that there is a water dispenser that generates sparkling water where you can fill your own bottle, or some bottles that are at you disposal and you can take to your room. I can only recommend the place!
