BEST WESTERN LES MYRTILLES

We spent a very good weekend in Vielsam at the Hotel Myrtilles. Manager and staff attentive to guests. Spacious, pleasant, and clean suite. Very good breakfast: sweet, savory, fresh fruit juice, everything you need for a day of discovery. The restaurant offers very good Italian cuisine that should not be missed. Honestly, I will go back.

We had booked a superior room during our 3day stay. This was below our expectations, we had the impression that the room was not polished, still hairs in the closet in the bathroom, paper in the wicker basket and the floor firmly damaged. When we reported this to the reception we were told that there was a water leak and that the floor still needed to be repaired. We didn't understand this room was still in service without repair. At breakfast the bread was not fresh from the day, nor was any fruit on the first day. At the desk we were received by a man who also speaks Dutch

Room is not very big but bathroom/shower is really small. I knew there was no air conditioning, but a fan in the room would be nice. Something that bothers me is the lack of a light by the bed or a switch for the very large light above the bed. I asked the manager (owner?) for this, the answer was, old lamps had to go because of fire risk and the new lights are not yet in. I saw on reviews of April that the same problem was already known. It seems stiff to me that there is 4 months delivery time. Therefore only 3 stars.
