The location of this hotel was great for us, as we wanted to be away from the busiest part of town but a short walk from everything. It was still right in amongst shops, bars and restaurants and about 10 mins walk from the main square and shopping area. The station was only a short, pleasant walk away along the canal too.
The hotel looks just like the photos. We had two balcony rooms, which were clean, comfortable and had decent walk-in showers, with plenty of storage for our 3 night stay. The only complaint was the hairdryers on the bathroom walls - you have to hold the buttons tight down while using them and they are on curly cables which keep trying to ping back to base! Also, no kettles, just coffee machines you'd have to use for making tea.
We really enjoyed breakfast, which was plentiful, fresh and delicious to suit all tastes. No cocktails available in the bar but the staff were helpful and we enjoyed relaxing there with drinks after dinner out. If you wanted to sit outside, the courtyard was nice.
