Booked the apartment which was described (and depicted in photographs) as having a kitchen. Stove had been removed, the fridge freezer was broken. The sofa and armchairs were filthy, stained and broken. As we were unable to cook we accepted the shared continental breakfast only to discover the hard way that the "gluten-free bread bought specially for you" was not gluten-free - the hard way involves 8 hours of violent sickness, diarrhea and fever. Messages were unanswered for over 24 hours, but the owner's wife was rude and dismissive of our concerns when we finally encountered her on the doorstep. Ironically we chose this venue because our family run a similar business in an even older restored heritage building. We are hosts more often than we are guests, and we really do understand the challenges of eorking in hospitality. There are no excuses for this experience. Happy to back up this review with photographs.

We were booked into the two bedroom apartment for two nights. Hotel was in darkness no one answered doorbell and phone number unavailable. Luckily nearby hotel had room and thanks to them and their wonderful staff out mini break was saved. Avoid.

We had a lovely weekend stay at this B&B. It is situated right in the heart of Bruges, and is a charming and characterful property. The hosts were extremely welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We stayed in the Red Suite, which was a good size with a newly renovated bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good, and there were tea and coffee facilities available at all times. There were however some negative practical points...the floor was a bit splintery, and the tv was limited in terms of the channels available. There were not many toiletries provided, and there was no means to place the shampoo and soap we did use on or near the roll-top bath. There wasn’t a freestanding shower and, despite our best efforts, the plastic curtain couldn’t keep all the water in... These are minor gripes, and we would certainly return.
