We celebrated our parents' golden marriage here. Everything went perfectly as planned. The sea bass and the filet mignon was delicious. The service and the hostess were top! Definitely recommended for family and wedding parties. We enjoyed it!

We spent Christmas Eve there. Everything was not so bad, except for dessert whose cake was baked way too hard. The bedroom was spacious and well equipped.

February 02, 2026, we were together for 20 years. We had chosen Bruges Belgium for 2 nights. We ended up at Hotel Lodewijk van Malen. We decided to get a room upgrade. Larger, more luxurious and with balcony. It was the only room with a very large balcony overlooking the garden/park. It was the Honeymoon suite. Despite a renovation on the 1st floor, (which did not bother us) we had a great stay. Friendly staff and what a delicious breakfast. Tea and coffee supply. (Nespresso) Good location for visiting Bruges center. Parking: The House So a big 10.
