Very good expierience, everything as expected. Beautiful bar. Parking Garage is around the corner. No elevator into the hotel, only stairs. We stayed at the Residence on the ground floor with a patio, from where we accessed our rooms. Also the price was ok.

"Dukes’ Palace and Dukes’ Residence are two separate accommodation concepts within the Dukes’ Collection". We stayed in the Residence in May 2026. Numerous problems were encountered. I contacted the hotel to find a solution. Please see below problems encountered and Official Hotel Response: 1) Broken fridge in room. 2) Broken mirror in bathroom. 3) Broken toilet roll holder in toilet. 4) Broken extractor fan in bathroom. 5) Teabags weren't restocked. 6) Lack of amenities available, no drinks, no milk, no hair dryer/ironing board. 7) Broken sink plug in right sink. 8) Double bed is two single beds pushed together. Pillows are small cushions, not full length bed pillows. Hotel Response: "We would like to kindly clarify that Dukes’ Palace and Dukes’ Residence are two separate accommodation concepts within the Dukes’ Collection. While guests of Dukes’ Residence enjoy access to certain facilities and services at Dukes’ Palace, including breakfast and the lounge area, the Residence offers a different room category and level of amenities compared to the main five-star hotel experience at Dukes’ Palace itself". Please consider this before booking your holiday. If you want a flawless experience, go for the main hotel, if you want value for money, book elsewhere. The Residence needs a lot of maintenance.

We booked Dukes Palace Residence after being told it was connected to the main Dukes Palace Hotel and that we could enjoy the same facilities. This is very misleading. Check-in was already a bad start. We arrived at 2:28 PM after an 8+ hour flight and a 1.5-hour train ride, completely exhausted. The receptionist kept insisting we leave our luggage and go explore the city instead of waiting. We stayed in the lobby for 30 minutes, clearly tired, and she made no effort to accommodate us or check if the room could be ready sooner. The biggest disappointment came on our last day. After a long day walking around, we wanted to order room service. Only then were we told: “You are in the Residence, we don’t offer room service. You can order food and come pick it up.” For a place marketed alongside a 5-star hotel, this is unacceptable. The Residence feels more like a random Airbnb using the hotel’s name, but without the service or comfort you would expect. If I had known this beforehand, I would have never booked it.
