Focus Hotel

I stayed here for just 1 night. I was visiting Kortrijck to watch a football match - Kortrijck v Jong Genk in the Challenger Pro League. I chose the hotel because it was near the Railway station. It you come out of the station then turn left and go through the tunnel under the railway line. I felt safe even at night because it was so well lit. The hotel is 5 minute walk away. It was a self check in with an allocated code. It was a straightforward process. The room was fine and adequate for my requirements. The breakfast was good too with plenty of options. The only negative was that you had to cook your own hot food if you wanted some. Overall, the hotel was fine. I would however would like to have had more personal contact with the owners or employees. I think its important for any business to engage with its customers because it can have such a significant impact on how someone feels about their stay. The Football ground is a slight distance away but is still easily walkable. On the Saturday morning I had a stroll around Kortrijck itself and its a nice place. I enjoyed my visit. The hotel was adequate for my requirements and is handily located near the railway station.

Terrible! Dirty dirty dirt!! The room arrived ice cold. Took so long with the air conditioning, it was night before the room was warmed up a bit. Bathroom no heating possible! Dead animals in the room! Cobwebs like never seen before! Fabric or the fabric beds with thick pencils. Lampshades on bedside tables full of fly droppings. On the bottom sheet several thick black hairs of previous person. No sheets of cotton or other normal bed linen but something exactly disposable. Stains on the bath towels. Bathroom also hairs of previous persons. Freezing Room and Bathroom. Dirty room, bathroom, sheets, towels and bed. Not being able to sleep from dirt and cold and then not being able to shower from dirt and cold. Breakfast content very good but dirty! Cutlery trays not only filled with cutlery but also with leftover food. Dirty dirt in room 12! Vandeweghe Nancy and Nancy Peersman

quiet hotel close to center ,nice breakfast ,bike parking close to ,parking opposite hotel close to and via parko 4 euros per day Well!! a bit of unrest during breakfast there are jars of food moved and a lot of unnecessary steps around by working persons, bed in the room was in need of renewal by, on the 3 douch day my shower soap was already up depending on whether a large jar was not refilled so , the sink was not cleaned only cover the bed and new towels were put in the room Otherwise it was ok, soda in fridge is pricey
