Motel Almy

I can only talk about the restaurant, haven't tried out the motel yet! But it's definitely the best restaurant in Zenica & it's surroundings! The waiters in the downstairs area & the garden are suuuper friendly and professional! And the food is always freshly made and sooo good & delicious!

Food in the restaurant is OK, portions are decent, tasty, no complains about food. But waitress service is terrible, shameful. Tables are not cleaned after gusts, you can see what people before you had for their meal, it is very bad. Waitress there are maybe OK for a coffee bar or beer pub, but not for a place where people want to have their lunch break. Tables full of bread crumbs are not cleaned after guests, poor manners of the waitress. Customer service sucks, big time!

Set on the main Sarajevo-Doboj highway outside of Zenica itself in an industrial area the views are rather lacking but it is fine otherwise (very much not 400m from the train/bus station and 700m from the city centre as the booking.com entry stated). A car or taxi will be needed to reach anywhere in the town really. The building itself is very new and clean. The room and ensuite were both very large and of a high quality, especially considering the price. The attached restaurant was again reasonably priced and did generously sized (if not overly exciting) meals. Staff spoke sufficient English for us to eat, stay and pay.
