Amazon Ecopark Jungle Lodge

The lodge is truly beautiful: immersed in the Amazon rainforest, in a suggestive setting and completely in contact with nature. The property is simple, well-organized, and overall well-maintained. The dining is also very simple, but the food is of good quality. Unfortunately, however, my experience was strongly affected by the room assigned: 3A, 3B, or 3C. These rooms are entirely made of wood, with planks and numerous gaps between one part of the structure and another, through which many animals can easily enter. Being completely immersed in the forest, the presence of insects and other animals is naturally understandable, but in these rooms it becomes truly difficult to sleep peacefully during the night. The room's bathroom was also very small and, compared to the rest of the property, decidedly more run-down and not very clean. For this reason I absolutely recommend the lodge, but I recommend choosing the superior rooms, which are made of masonry. The difference, in my opinion, is fundamental to being able to experience the Amazon forest without turning the nights into an extremely difficult experience. I would only recommend the standard rooms to those who deliberately seek a very “wild” experience, accepting to give up comfort and the possibility of sleeping serenely. In conclusion, the lodge is worth it, but the choice of room is truly decisive.

The location is nothing short of stunning! An oasis of peace and relaxation in the middle of the Amazon rainforest! The same cannot be said for the rooms, absolutely not up to the standard of a high-level accommodation facility, old, with very uncomfortable beds, even worse pillows, but the terrible thing is the continuous intermittent nighttime noise that doesn't let you get a wink of sleep!!! Shall we move on to the food? Well, during your days staying in the Amazon, feed your eyes and mind with the local beauties, but know that your body will suffer for it…. The food is almost inedible! this was my experience in the Amazon.

The experience was amazing. The activities and guides are elite, being friendly and knowledgeable. I had the luck to have Mauricio for the pink dolphin and river meet scenery, and Mateus, a survivor expert that guides through the jungle and monkey island. The hotel has great food, great rooms and great ammenities. Everyone is so nice!
