Pousada Vila Do Sossego

I booked 2 rooms for 1 week, 1 me and my husband and another for my daughter and my son-in-law, in the reservation by whatsapp with the owner he asked if I would like to book pro day 15 -01 instead of 13-01 already q he had a reservation in these 2 days or stay in the same room because he only had one available, I did not accept because we like our privacy! Therefore I said q would look for another hostel and he said q would cancel the other person's reservation and we put 1 week each in his room, I should first make the payment and would be all right!I quickly transfer Pix and so q shared (question of 3 minutes) he said q entered a reservation and if I really didn't want to share the room with my daughter ! So he fooled me, I asked him to return the money and he asked if he could find a hostel for me near my daughter for 2 days and then I would go to her own, I agreed. Day 15 we arrived at the hostel village of quiet and had no one to receive , I asked the owner by msg and he sent me the number of the colleague , I was received , do not make guest registration , do not instruct you , the next day my daughter q was already 4 days there without changing towels , no toilet paper (she had to go to the supermarket to buy). I talked with the manager and he said that the change and cleaning would do on the third day (she was already on the fourth day). This cannot continue to work like this!

We stayed for 3 night in this Pousada. The most important thing I want to mention: how welcoming and nice are the owner. I had the chance to talk Italian with them. They gave me amazing advices about what to do around and where to go. The breakfast is very good and homemade. The room was very simple but as expected, I had a big bed and my friend slept in the small bed. Air conditioning is available so it's not too hot. We have very good memories in this place, the time there was very nice. We would definitely come back.

Pousada Vila do Sossego is located a bit inland, further from the very touristy beaches and has great landscape with mountains. Great location if you are looking for something less touristy. It is owned by a lovely family who is incredibly friendly. I have absolutely loved my stay at their pousada. If you are looking to stay a bit more inland in a peaceful location, meet locals and have a great breakfast, then I strongly recommend it. It isn't a five stars hotel, but rooms are big and all have a nice hammock with view on the mountains. Highly recommended! The prices are also very cheap!
