Casa Verde Apart

Our short 2 night stay in Casa verde Apart was great, the apartment had everything we needed. The host Marcelo was very helpful and sorted our transfers and looked after our luggage. Would definitely stay there again

My friends and I stayed here last June, during the World Cup. It was the most relaxing place we stayed at during our two-week trip. The room was clean and the kitchen was clutch as we cooked ourselves a midnight snack after a full day of activities. The couple who run the place are also very nice and accommodating. Definitely recommended.

We stayed here at the end of our three-week honeymoon in Brazil. We loved this cozy little apartment. It’s not on the beach, but on a quiet residential street that is close to everything, and far enough away from the center to feel like you’re not in the middle of tourism. The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. It was nice to make our own breakfast after nearly three weeks of breakfast buffets at hotels and pousadas (which we loved, but after a while, we missed having our own kitchen). MIrian and Marcelo were very sweet and helpful, loaning us snorkel equipment and bicycles that we rode all the way to the Castle Garcia D’Avila. My only complaint was the “drinking water” provided in a pitcher was probably not adequately filtered. My husband and I filtered all our water (anything we didn’t buy in a bottle) with a UV device and I didn’t get sick until Praia do Forte. I’m pretty certain it was the water our host offered us when we arrived. She said it was filtered, but probably not well enough for my sensitive foreign stomach. My husband didn’t get sick, but he has a cast iron stomach. It’s really our fault—we shouldn’t have trusted the water, just warning any other travelers with sensitive stomachs. Otherwise, this is a great place to stay in Praia do Forte, and we would highly recommend it.
