I made a short trip to Salvador and would be alone, I chose HIT for location and safety, which was a great choice. Hotel with good cost benefit, simple and clean rooms, breakfast with a lot of variety, the location is perfect, beachfront, foot in the sand, I found it quiet to walk there alone, very close to the lighthouse of Barra da to go walking.

The hotel is well located, the room was good, but the breakfast can improve.

We stayed at the Hit in March/2026. My parents stayed one day and I stayed five. We stayed in rooms 303 and 304. From the beginning we were very well received by the reception staff. The hotel has an elevator, but the main access to the hotel's reception is by stairs, I don't know if there is an option for those with restricted traffic. The location is excellent, in front of the beach of the bar port, several nearby shops, pharmacies, markets, bars and restaurants. From Friday to Sunday, the street closes for leisure. It is a great area, close to the bar lighthouse (it is easy to walk) and easy to reach the main tourist attractions. My parents' room (303) was released first, clean, clean and the beautiful bathroom, I believe it was renovated just a while ago. Air conditioning working well. My room was released a little later (304), it was bigger than my parents, clean and neat. However, our bathroom was not so new (need a modernization) and the air conditioning did not freeze so much. But the room was cool, so it was quiet, but if it was too hot, the air would not flow. We informed the maintenance, but they said it was. In addition, the room was well-groomed every day and the towels changed. Our rooms had sea views, I believe we got an upgrade, but was not informed at the reception. The breakfast is simple, but quite satisfying, felt missing tapioca, but had options of natural juices, plate to heat bread, coffee, cake, salty, cold, etc. The hotel has a cafeteria at the reception, a refrigerator with drinks for sale for an SOS. I also checked that they provide (payable) beach towels, but I did not use the service. And has a travel agent for buying tours A very cool point of the hotel is that they have a shower next to the entrance, allowing washing feet, body to remove sand and salt. And another cool point, on the days when the shore is closed, it is not possible to call uber/taxi, but there is a service exit in the street behind that they open. I liked the hit very much, the whole staff is congratulated, from the reception to the hotel/chamber room. I would return and highly recommend.
