Where it completely falls apart is something as basic as drinking water. For a 5-star property, there are no water stations anywhere on the resort, no way to refill your own bottle. Instead, you're limited to one cup per person and pushed toward their canned water, which has a strong, off-putting taste. It's a transparent way to squeeze extra revenue out of guests who are stuck in the heat with no alternative. It's a small thing on paper, but it says a lot about the pricing philosophy here. You're already paying a premium daily rate, and then getting nickel-and-dimed on something this basic. It's exactly why Club Med Trancoso, fully all-inclusive with no hidden extras, is the better choice if you want your resort experience without the constant upselling. Recommended if you don't mind paying extra for essentials. Skip it if you want a stay without the games.
