Dear Management, I would like to formally register my thanks and recognition for the exceptional service provided by Ms. Val, from the reception, during my stay. Even before arriving at the hotel, I contacted the team several times because I had a very simple, but very important personal request: I would like to leave a sparkling wine in the room to surprise my wife upon arrival. Despite having spoken with several employees over approximately 24 hours, unfortunately no one was able to present me with an effective solution. It was only when I talked to Mrs. That the situation has completely changed. In a few minutes, she understood exactly what I needed, took the initiative to solve the issue, and organized everything with a combination of competence, agility, attention, and a genuine desire to help. More than simply fulfilling a function, it demonstrated what I consider essential in true hospitality: recognizing the importance a small detail can have for a guest and doing everything possible to make that moment special. Besides providing the sparkling wine, Mrs. Val was also kind enough to provide me with the contact of a florist who could deliver directly to the hotel, contributing even more to my ability to prepare the surprise for my wife. At the end of his shift, he left practically everything in order, requiring only that the team taking over later put ice in the champagne bucket near the arrival time. Unfortunately, even though it was an extremely simple procedure and despite numerous subsequent calls, I again found enormous difficulty in getting that last detail resolved. I insist on mentioning this contrast not with the intention of disparaging the other employees individually, but because it further highlights the extraordinary professional capacity of the lady. Val. What remained unresolved for many hours and after several attempts was solved by her in a quick, natural, and extremely efficient way. Mrs. Val represents, in my perception, exactly the type of professional a hotel should value and recognize: proactive, solution-oriented, polite, helpful, welcoming, and attentive to detail. In hospitality, it is often not just the structure, the room, or the facilities that remain in the guest's memory. It is mainly the people. And, in this case, I will certainly remember Mrs. Val as the professional who truly committed to turning my intention into a special moment for my wife. Therefore, I ask the Board to formally record this praise and, if possible, bring it to the attention of Ms. herself. Val and his leadership. Professionals like this deserve to be recognized, valued, and used as a benchmark of excellence within the team.
